What Your Partnership Does
Food - Feeding a Growing Family
With more than 200 children and 24 staff members, one of the greatest ongoing needs at the school is providing daily meals. Every day, over 200 people gather three times for nourishment, fellowship, and care.
In this remote region of Tanzania, food is more than a necessity—it is a lifeline. The school also regularly shares meals with members of the local Maasai community, extending Christ's love beyond its walls and into the surrounding villages.
For many of these children, the meals they receive at the school are the most consistent and reliable source of nutrition they have ever known. Every plate of food represents hope, stability, and the tangible love of God at work through faithful supporters.
Your generosity helps ensure that no child goes hungry and that this refuge in the wilderness can continue to serve those who need it most.
Payroll - The People Behind the Mission
Buildings do not raise children—people do.
The heart of this ministry is found in the dedicated men and women who care for the children every day. From teaching lessons in the classroom to preparing meals, washing clothes, maintaining the grounds, and providing daily supervision, the work never stops.
Most staff members wear multiple hats, serving wherever there is a need. A teacher may also help care for children after school hours. A cook may assist with other daily responsibilities. Everyone works together to create a safe, loving environment where children can thrive.
Finding, training, housing, and retaining qualified teachers and staff in this remote region of Tanzania comes at a significant cost. Yet their presence is essential. These faithful workers provide not only education and care, but also mentorship, stability, and the love of Christ to children who desperately need it.
Every donation helps support the people who make this refuge possible. By investing in the staff, you are investing directly in the lives and futures of more than 200 children..
Logistics - Keeping the Mission Moving
In a ministry serving more than 200 children, transportation is not a luxury—it is a necessity.
In 2026, the school was blessed with the purchase of a small van, affectionately referred to as the "school bus." This vehicle helps transport teachers to and from the school, children who still have families in the surrounding communities, and supplies needed to keep the ministry operating.
Education also requires far more than a classroom and a teacher. Every year, the school must provide notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, textbooks, workbooks, and other essential learning materials for hundreds of students. As the school continues to grow, so do its technology needs, including computers, software, internet access, and equipment maintenance. Science education brings additional expenses through laboratory equipment, chemistry supplies, and hands-on learning resources that help prepare students for future careers and opportunities. These everyday educational tools may seem small, but they are critical investments in the future of every child who walks through the school's doors.
Beyond transportation and educational resources, there are many behind-the-scenes costs that make this mission possible. Maintaining a website, operating computers, processing donations, transferring funds internationally, and coordinating logistics all require resources. While these expenses are rarely seen, they are essential to ensuring that support reaches the children who depend on it.
Every gift helps keep the wheels turning—both literally and figuratively. Your generosity allows teachers to teach, children to learn, meals to be served, and hope to continue reaching a remote corner of Tanzania where lives are being transformed every day.
